Description

Service Set Identifier (SSID) is used to divide a WLAN into different subnetworks which need independent authentication, with a maximum of 32 characters. SSID is usually broadcast by Access Point (AP). A SSID is the name of a subnetwork, and only computers with the same value of the SSID can communicate with each other.
